Rainchecks/Meal Plan

Today's lesson is on Rainchecks. Let's say you are going to the store for the fresh express bagged spinach that is 10/10. You have $1 coupons making the salad free. When you arrive...they are all gone!!! What do you do?? Are you out of luck? Is couponing not for you??
Never fear! Rainchecks to your rescue! All you do is go up to the service desk and ask for a raincheck on X item because they are out. this allows you to get the sale price when they restock their shelves (even if it takes a couple weeks) and still use your coupons, YAY! You can get a raincheck for 5 items, 1 item, 10 different rainchecks for 1 item each so you can space them out (it's really fun).

You don't have to get them on groceries either. This week Target had Ratatouille on sale for $10 so I wanted to go get it. My friends told me that it was gone by Monday afternoon so when I went out today to get my sunday papers and some other stuff, I was planning on getting a raincheck for it. Imagine my surprise that they actually had it!! (I was a little disappointed)
So here's what I got today for $7.34 OOP (keep in mind that the movie was $10)

How did I do that? Well, I got 3 bags of Flat Earth chips with a free item coupon up to 2.99. They were actually 1.99 but the cashier put them in for the full amount! So I got $3 off my movie. Don't count on that happening to you a lot but when it does, it's really fun. Also the brown and serve sausage was 10/10 and I had a B1G1 coupon. When the coupon scanned the computer automatically took off 1.79. so instead of $1 for 2 boxes, I really paid .21 for 2 boxes!

What is Stitch Fix? Review #1

Today I got my very first stitch fix and I'm so excited! First of all, what is it?

It's a monthly subscription clothing box. You pay $20 for a stylist to pick out some clothes for you based on height, preference, what you post on your Pinterest board, etc. They send you 5 items to try on at home with things you already own and you can pick whatever ones you want to keep. The $20 works as a credit toward anything you keep. You send back the rest and wait for your next box!

I decided to try this out because I don't really have stores for clothes shopping in my area. Plus, it's fun!

Do you want to try it out? Check it out here.

Okay, here is what I got in my first box:

They always send this cool styling card to show how to wear the clothes.

Don't mind my crazy face. These are the Mavi Freida Skinny Jeans.

Paired with the Pixley Tracy Dot Print Cross Back Knit Top

Added my jacket and the Octavia Jolene Zipper Flap Crossbody Bag.

Then I decided to pair with a skirt and …
